Urbex: A short introduction

Urban Exploration, Urbex or UE consists of exploring man-made structures that are abandoned or temporarily closed: disused hospitals, factories, bunkers, former military installations, tunnel or catacombs. While some of these explorations are legal, most take place in buildings where public access is not permitted. Those explorations don’t go without rules, among other. To navigate through those forbidden places, Urban explorers, also called Urbexers, shall be discreet, respectful, and be on the lookout. They also have to be ready to explore every nook and cranny of have decaying places as well as not being claustrophobic or having vertigo.
